
This Warehouse Manger position is open as the incumbent will be retiring at the end of the year. As Warehouse Manager, you will work closely with clients, suppliers and transport companies to ensure on time delivery and make sure sensitive stock is correctly and safely stored.
Other responsibilities will include:
1)Planning the delivery and dispatch of goods
2)Monitoring and reserving storage space
3)Managing all warehouse staff in cooperation with bonded Nittsu staff, including planning work rotations for warehouse operators and supervisors
4)Tracking stock levels
5)Organizing recruitment and staff training
6)Handling disciplinary issues
The ideal candidate will have prior Warehouse Management experience. However, those people with related logistics, supply chain management, transport management and people management experience will also be considered for the role.
Required skills include:
* At least 10+ years cumulative experience in the following areas: warehouse management logistics, supply chain management and transport management
* Fluent in English and Japanese
* Ability to work in Aichi Prefecture
* Prior experience handling at least 2,000SKUs
* Prior experience managing directly or indirectly 25 subordinates
Desirables include:
* Strong understanding of ISO standards.
* Prior experience in the medical industry
