This role will engage end users in the target personas to clarify and document their workflow and identify the extent of localization that will add the most to their perceived value of the TS service. The position will support product localization for products from all three TS market groups. A secondary responsibility will be to identify opportunities to accelerate the localization activity by helping TS management to understand localization best practices in the software and information industry. The position will work closely with the global product development teams and global S&T teams. Major Areas of Accountability: TSAP product localization priorities ·create TSAP product localization priority list based on market opportunity, time to market and expected cost of delivery ·communicate priority list to stakeholders to ensure understanding and acceptance Product specifications for localized product ·outline product functionality requirements and specifications for localization of the TS global products ·conduct market research to understand the value proposition for different levels of localization ·ensure that global product development teams consider the needs of Asia Pac end users Business case for localization ·outline P&L impact and other relevant metrics of localization Accelerate localization efforts ·identify localization best practices and educate global product development team about these in order to have them adopt the best practices ·identify constraints in TS localization processes and recommend action to remove the constraint ·work with localization project manager(s) to track the overall status of localization efforts Champion product enhancement requests to global product development teams ·Track customer requests for enhancements in Asia Pacific as aggregated by the TSAP helpdesk and outline these to the global product development teams regularly. Travel: Product localization is expected to focus on Japan, China and S Korea. The position will be based in Singapore. Due to the regional nature of product localization, travel of up to 50% may be expected.
