This is a key role for helping to lay out the roadmap to improved supportability within our target state architecture.  Delivering a world class, flexible, and predictable technology platform is the cornerstone for our success.  This role is tasked with ensuring that we deliver on that promise day-to-day, that our entire technology stack is managed in an integrated and transparent way, and that we both contribute to and leverage global support capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:


&amp;middot;  Quickly develop a broad understanding of BGIʼs global products, investment process, IT applications and client needs.


&amp;middot; Develop quality relationships with the teamʼs key business and IT clients.


&amp;middot;  Take ownership of the Japan support capability from day 1 ensuring the baseline service is uninterrupted and then built upon through the establishment of the right service levels, tools, and escalation processes. 

&amp;middot;  Strive for a coherent and cohesive support model and tooling such that support, readiness, and service levels can be aligned with business solutions.
 

&amp;middot;  Partner with the global support teams to evaluate and improve the existing support model, processes, tools and performance and contribute to the strategic view of how the service and team should be developed over time.
 

&amp;middot;  Partner with the application development and engineering teams to improve supportability in terms of application architecture, implementation, and change and release management, influencing product roadmaps where necessary.
