Project: -Participate in project teams established to implement new products within Japan. Identify the potential impact to Finance, both locally and to our out-sourced accounting process　group. Liaise and assist the relevant functions to implement revised processes within the necessary timetable. -Build knowledge of the company’s technology and their interface to Finance processes. Assess impact of system changes to Finance processes and raise requirements to be able to seamlessly maintain and improve finance processes. -Guide business partners and customers in appropriate accounting of items in accordance with the company’s policies, US and Japan GAAP to ensure integrity of financial records and internal controls. -Support external auditors and regulators as directed by Manager during external audits and regulatory reviews. -Conduct research as required on regulations and laws. -Respond to and resolve all reporting related queries raised by local market customers, business partners and regional finance team. -Contribute toward process improvements through ongoing review of processes / methods of data collection and report preparation to create efficiencies and eliminate non-value added work.
