They are currently looking for a Merchandising Manager who will play a key role in the ongoing success of the organization. 

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

Lead a cross-functional team for a single Department. Develops, communicates and drives seasonal business strategies that meet or exceed financial goals and customer expectations. Manages and teaches the Merchandising team to be customer-focused, innovative, fast and team-oriented in their work. Prioritizes the workload and plays an active role in training merchants within the Department. Demonstrates smart risk-taking in investment strategies. Shares best in practices and key learnings across Departments. Is a role model within the Division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. OPERATIONS/FINANCIAL 

&amp;middot; Manage the success of the Department through developing and driving seasonal business strategies that meet or exceed financial goals. Prioritize tasks to meet customer expectations and ensure resource efficiency and effectiveness. 

&amp;middot; Develop and gain approval for Department seasonal strategies and prioritize tasks to support Division strategies and meet financial targets.

&amp;middot; Partner with cross-functional team members to develop Department key concepts, key items, promotional strategies and store assortments to ensure that the collection is commercially viable and provides an exciting customer store experience.

&amp;middot; Approve the ranking of all styles within the Department based on historical and current product performance, as well as marketplace information. Eliminate redundancies in the product assortment.

&amp;middot; Position Department investments to ensure that smart risks are being taken, basic businesses are protected and financial targets are met.

&amp;middot; Gain approval for the Department’s seasonal investments and quarterly financial plans.

&amp;middot; Validate costing and placement strategies with Production.

&amp;middot; Formulate Department pricing strategies.

&amp;middot; Approve garment fit and ensure product execution meets the design aesthetic as well as commercially acceptable quality standards.

&amp;middot; Identify business opportunities and risks in-season through analyzing sales performance and gathering marketplace information.

&amp;middot; Change future Department strategies in-season where needed and provide appropriate and timely direction to the cross-functional team in order to react quickly to customer and business trends.

2. COMMUNICATION 

&amp;middot; Provide clear and timely communication ensuring that the cross-functional team is aligned towards a common goal. Communicate with conviction to diverse audiences. Be a good listener. 

&amp;middot; Communicate seasonal Department strategies to key functional areas in order to focus the team towards a common goal.

&amp;middot; Actively listen to all members of the cross-functional team to ensure that innovative ideas are surfaced and acted upon, and that the team feels ownership in the business.

&amp;middot; Share information cross-brand and cross-channel where appropriate.

3. PEOPLE/LEADERSHIP

&amp;middot; Partner with Planning and Company Planning to develop balanced financial plans.

&amp;middot; Partner with Product Development to ensure that design supports customer and business needs while remaining innovative.

&amp;middot; Work with Merchants within the Division to ensure strong teamwork.

&amp;middot; Partner with Visual Merchandising to provide an exciting customer store experience.

&amp;middot; Partner with Production to ensure that sourcing strategies are cost-effective and in compliance with the company’s legal standards.

&amp;middot; Partner with Distribution to ensure that the customer’s sizing needs are being met and that flow and distribution strategies are aligned.

&amp;middot; Partner with Product Management to ensure market specific strategies and product needs are communicated to designers.

&amp;middot; Partner with Product Technicians to ensure fits are right for the market and are updated meet customer needs.

2) Minimum educational level:

3) Minimum experience:

&amp;middot; 5-7 years of retail buying experience.

&amp;middot; 2-4 years of management experience.

4) Physical Requirements:

&amp;middot; Ability to transport, maneuver and visually evaluate merchandise.

&amp;middot;Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

The successful applicant will effectively manage and troubleshoot/problem-solve Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) and Time &amp; Attendance (T&amp;A) inquiries that support the objectives of Business Partners and to create statistical reports by utilizing HR systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:                          

HR Metrics - Management Reporting:

-Effectively utilize HR systems such as HRMS and T&amp;A by creating statistical reporting to meet the needs of Management and Business Partners. 
-Monitor Personal Action Notice (PAN) process that has been processed for regular employees and ensure that they comply with HR policies and procedures. 
-Create monthly employee master and adjusts data by using HRMS to proceed payroll calculation 
-Enhance existing standard reports used internally with HR systems and develop (customize) the reports as needed.

HRMS:

-Attempt initial resolution for trouble shooting as single point of contact for HRMS between end users and 2nd level (US) or local between and global 
-Review requests (set up table, security, etc.) from users and escalate those requests to global HRMS team. 
-Record all incidents and requests to utilize incident information for future troubleshooting 
-Data check for regular employees 
-Monitor the vendor for data-input 

T&amp;A:

-Attempt initial resolution for trouble shooting as single point of contact of HRMS between end users (HQ / Field / System Owner) and 2nd level (US) or Local between and global 
-Order and Administrate ID cards for new hires and those who are transferred 
-Create statistical T&amp;A reports 
-Monitor the vendor handling data corrections into the system

-More than 2-3 year business experience needed  (HR experience is preferable.) 
-Strong logical thinking skills needed to understand correct business processes 
-Good English skills needed (reading / writing / speaking)

Basic knowledge on HR systems (PeopleSoft 8.8+, Time &amp; Attendance systems, etc.)

General Summary: 

Reporting to the Senior/Director, Property, the successful applicant will e ngage in new store development, build and maintain relationships with key business partners, which is the core of the company’s business strategy.

Main duties and the responsibilities: 

New store development:

-Open Combination of Stores (in Department Stores, Malls, and Station Malls)
-Carry out area development based on mid-long term store development strategies.
-Obtain real estate information through networking

-Editing and conclusion of contracts

Relationship with the Business Partners:

-Act as contact for business partners of existing stores

-Manage relationships with key business partners

-Over 3 years of experience in store development
-Network with Station Malls
-Experience working with large apparel companies in business development (including wholesale)
