JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Information Technology Group is responsible for:
-managing the Bank’s technology infrastructure
-supporting, maintaining and enhancing existing business systems
-delivering and deploying new systems, technologies and services

The Division provides each major business in the Bank, with a dedicated team that works closely with that business to understand its particular technology needs.
The Information Information Technology Group is responsible for the management of the clients technology infrastructure, the support and development of existing business systems, and the delivery and deployment of new systems, technologies and services. The Group provides each major business in the Investment Bank with a dedicated team that works closely with that business to understand its particular technology needs.
Due to continued business growth, we are currently seeking experienced Fidessa Developers to join our project team. You will possess solid understanding of Fidessa over a number of years.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
-providing technical expertise to develop, configure and enhance Fidessa V5
-establishing strong relationships with the business and IT stakeholders.
-systems issues and changes, and participation in process improvement initiatives;
-working within the OMS project team to established policies and procedures.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Working closely with the business and technical stakeholders, you will be required to work with minimal supervision. Ideally, you will have:
-In depth knowledge of Fidessa - FTW, OMAR, TMAR, AMMA and CTAC.
-development experience in UNIX, shell scripts, C++, TCL and Sybase
-experience in developing and supporting front office systems;
-an understanding or direct experience with the FIX protocol;
-experience with working with vendor packages;
-the ability to work well under pressure;
-strong written and verbal communication skills; and
-a strong appreciation of key business drivers and an understanding of the IT impact upon the business.
