Field Application Engineer

Scope

Responsible for providing advanced and system level knowledge relevant for the applications the client are targeting.

Working closely with the business units,sales team, distributors and customers the role includes proactive support of customer design engineers, new product suggestions and feedback on current proposals, training of other FAEs, local FSEs and distributor staff.

Objectives
Orders and sale growth through increasing design in/win success
Continuous flow of new product proposals

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year University- BSEE, or local equivalent

Attributes

A self starter with plenty of initiative. Diligent executor with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills. Hard working. Energetic and enthusiastic.

At least 3 years hardware system design experience. Especially PMU Power Management Unit ) design experience relevant for the consumer applications such as Mobile phone, MP3 player, Digital still/video camera…etc. is Preferred.

Preferably 2 years experience of working in an international analogue semiconductor company or an analogue semiconductor company which does business with international companies.

Business Level written and spoken English
