Several opportunities exist now in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries for experienced physicians.

Within the marketing function, medical advisors play an active role in supporting the information flow to Key opinion leaders. Their involvement in the marketing process is essential in the success of the products placement in the market.

Within Clinical development - there are number of opportunities for experienced physicians to lead the clinical development process as medical directors. Opportunities in both pharmaceutical clinical development and medical device clinical development are now open.

This is ideal for the medical physician is looking to step beyond the clinical practice and a make an impact in the commercial world of Healthcare. This is an opportunity to have international exposure as well as contribute to the development of life saving therapies.

The successful applicant must have the following experiences and skills:

- Experience working in the clinical environment in Japan (at least 5 years)
- Be fully qualified to practice medicine within Japan
- Have high level proficiency in English and Japanese

Candidates who are currently practicing clinical medicine, working in the commercial/industrial setting and academia are all welcome. Although not a must, candidates with a background in oncology, cardiology and internal medical are particularly welcome.
