Principal Responsibilities
Build strong partnership with Salespeople as well as marketers, traders, strategists, Operations, and Compliance & Legal to build and leverage technology solutions to enhance the firm’s franchise, reduce risk, maximize revenue, improve efficiency, and service clients.

Establish and drive a strategic vision for the Sales Technology platform for Asia. This entails working with the global team to establish an architectural framework and adapting it to work in the Asia time-zone.

Build a strong team to service the needs of the sales business while maintaining focus on execution of the strategic vision. Provide guidance and coaching to junior staff to groom leaders and high-impact performers. Take a leading role in getting the team to hire and groom diversity candidates.

Provide project management and coordination with other teams to ensure that projects are executed to spec, within budget, and within delivery dead lines.

Provide leadership in crisis situations. Handle dealings with regulators, internal and external auditors, and information security.

Experience/Skills

At least 11 years experience in the investment banking industry, with 8+ years experience in a high-level technical leadership, shaping strategy and system architectures.
Proven ability to partner with salespeople and traders, strategists, and as well as other stakeholders such as legal & compliance, operations, and other tech teams.
Proven experience in managing teams of over 10 people, across different product and functional areas; track record in attracting A-players to the team.
At least 3 years experience working in a front-office trading & sales environment; must have track recording working with financial products and markets, and able to learn on-the-job new product knowledge.
Programming experience in Java, C/C++, or C#
Experience building server and GUI components
Experience with release management, version control, and production environment control.
Strong communication and inter-personal skills. Must be able to operate fluently in English; ability to operate in Japanese will be a big advantage; ability to operate in Mandarin Chinese a bonus

スキル・資格

MUST have at least 11 years investment banking experience with at least 3 years experience in a front office trading/sales environment.

Programming experience in Java, C/C++, or C#

Experience building server and GUI components

Experience with release management, version control, and production environment control.

Strong communication and inter-personal skills. Must be able to operate fluently in English; ability to operate in Japanese will be a big advantage; ability to operate in Mandarin Chinese a bonus.
