Position Order-To-Cash PeopleSoft Expert, Asia
Mission To support implementation and deployment of Order-To-Cash (OTC) Business Systems for our client in ASIA level (main locations: Japan, Korea, China, and India), taking into accounts local requirements and in coherence with the global definition of the system done at the corporation.
Key Responsibilities & Activities This is a long term position created in the context of strong initiative at the corporate level to transform processes & tools to a common and shared set within all the companies of the group. It is part of a reinforcement of the Business Systems Management Office (BSMO) team which is currently composed of 8 people including 4 consultants and is in charge of supporting the deployments and operational usage of the PeopleSoft solutions.

The position to hold shall focus on the functional and technical aspects of the OTC modules of PeopleSoft ERP system for Finance processes. The PeopleSoft solution in Asia is currently under deployment (all Financials for OTC, AR, AP, GL). Our client has developed on top of PeopleSoft a specific solution to collect customer orders, and integrated this solution with PeopleSoft Contract Module in the OTC solution.

OTC processes to cover are the following:
- OTC Contract Management for Services and Software sales (Contracts, Revenue Recognition, Billing Process, Account Receivables)

In that context, the job will consist of:
- understanding current local organization and requirements in terms of OTC processes
- being able to analyze fit/gaps with the defined core system in PeopleSoft
- proposing best approach to operational usage for Asia
- strongly interacting with corporate finance team key users to drive change and understand issues
- strongly interacting with the BSMO global team (Europe, US, Asia)
- actively supporting the operational usage of the ERP for OTC
- capturing lessons learnt and capitalizing best practices to share with other geographies and deploy common methodologies
Requirements - 4-yr. university degree or higher
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience
- Language: Minimum Business level English (French and/or Asian language a plus)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with entire back-office team (HR, Finance, IT)
- IT skills focused on Windows professional applications and Web-based applications
- Existing knowledge and experience of ERP (preferably PeopleSoft)
Location Tokyo, Japan
Other Reporting to BSMO Asia Manager, this position requires hands-on management style by an experienced professional in view of the growing organization and to cope with needs in an efficient and timely manner.
