The Solution Architect is responsible for;

Ensuring the architecture strategy within project assignments is consistent, manageable, and can be realistically implemented.
Delivering Solution Architecture documentation.
Leading communications about and attaining approval for project final solution architecture (technical levels), with appropriate employment of IA3 ETA, Interfacing Technology standards, Infrastructure Environment, broad Integration Strategy and Business Strategies.
The Solution Architect will assist and review designs around integration of core tools (Expert Systems, Enterprise Architecture Development and other IT Assets) in concert to deliver business solutions. The Solution Architect will be the primary planner of the architecture required to support the assigned IT projects.

Essential Experience and Qualifications;

5 to 10 years experience in IT and minimum 2+ years of experience as an Enterprise or Solutions Architect, or sufficiently broad exposure to a large number of critical integration technologies to ensure an ability to see the whole solution at a glance.
Financial Service Industry – Should have a good understanding of critical Insurance processes and procedures; a good grasp of Insurance Operations and an understanding of Insurance and other financial service products.
Proven IT industry experience in systems design and architecture with knowledge of business and technical principles underlying systems design.
Experience in working within complex IT environments, architecting and design business solutions.
Strong knowledge and willingness to learn more about IA3.
Experience in implementing an architecture-driven solution
Tool Skill – UML Modeling Tools such as Rational Software Architect
MODEL: UML (create, read, interpret)
MODEL: ERD (create, read, interpret)
XML, WSDL, UDDI, General Web Services Technologies.
High level understanding of infrastructure, database technologies, and networking.
