Responsibilities

·　Act as main logistics interface towards internal Account Team for parts/tools support.
·　Interface with headquarters GLS in the planning and control of inventory (inclusive modifications) for effective replenishment and parts support. Take initiative to escalate on urgent matters were necessary
·　Contribute in the setup and sustaining of an optimal site support infrastructure in warehouse & delivery.
·　Responsible for compliance in quality assurance, import/export controls requirements on site.
·　Interface & manage 3PL-service provider on-site to control the material flows through the warehouse, out to customers and return of defective service materials
·　Manage relationship with 3PL service providers, customs and governmental trade authorities. Drive improvements on site agreed KPIs and manage freight/ duties/taxes transactions.
·　Responsible for generating monthly site KPI reports for the purpose of performance monitoring and costing analysis.
·　Train engineers in the adherence of logistical flows involving engineers handling.

Requirements:

·　University Degree in any related area
·　3-5 years logistics operations experience in MNC customer oriented logistics environment
·　Experience in warehousing, forwarding and import/export regulations
·　Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage
·　Good English , Japanese communication and social skills
·　Team-player
·　Flexibility to travel within Japan
