· Application Development and Support:
o Manage IT team project and corresponding maintenance actions required
o Definition of development standards and follow up of IT operations
· Monthly Administration:
o Monthly invoice checking and IT budget follow-up
· Team Management:
o Management of team of 9 people, staff evaluation, definition of training program
o Organization of internal department meeting
· Project Management:
o Some level of direct involvement in some IT strategic projects - Data Factory and Construction of an “Asian Hub”
· IT Management:
o Define the IT strategy of SGAM Japan in terms of systems and technology in order to address business needs, technical or regulatory risks
o Follow up of SAS 70, Internal Audits or Fitch recommendations
o Coordination and partnering with global IT teams mainly in Paris head office, but also in London, Los Angeles and Singapore.
o Supervise the writing and application of IT Procedures / IT Manual / Security Policy
o Follow up incident and IT risks in general
o Negotiation of contracts
· Member of Committee:
o IT Management Committee (as chairman + minutes) (once every two months)
o Operations Committee (as member) (twice a month)
o International IT EXCO (as member) (once a month)
o Business Continuity Management Committee (as member) (once every two months)

· 15 years in IT with a focus on IT in financial institutions and projects. At least. 10 years of project and team management experience
· Strong management and leadership skills
· Excellent communication with the ability to synthesize information for top management and to network with the various heads of departments in the company
· Strong understanding of at least 2 of the following domains:
o Investment (benchmarks, company financials)
o Portfolio management, fund accounting
o Order flow and settlement, Straight Through Processing
o Performance measurement
· Well organized with an effective time management capacity and attention to detail
· Experience in business system development and infrastructure management (Plus)
· Programming experience in Microsoft Excel/MS Access VBA (Plus)
· Depending on the seniority, role as Chief Information Officer Asia is possible, i.e. supervising SG IT Team

Languages

· Fluent English and Japanese, including reading and email writing skills
