
Join an International provider of realtime and high speed transaction soultions provided to financial and mobile clients. Work closely with sales team, Regional leader, and HQ at consulting with clients, analyzing needs of the client, and providing them with the necessary solutions. Develop your experiences in an international environment, and strengthen your technical and consulting abilities in both the financial market as well as the mobile market.
Ideal person is a self-starter, who requires little supervision, and takes initiative to complete work at hand. Individual will have a history of working well with others. Openness and honesty and the willingness and self-confidence to openly communicate and share ideas
Description of Job Functions:
· Work closely with Strategic Financial clients as a Pre-sales technical Engineer.
· Assess and analyze client needs and articulate business oriented solutions based on solutions that we can provide
· Work closely with company president and sales team to Develop and maintain customer relationships
· Work with an overseas team at establishing proper support for clients during purchasing period as well as beginning of implementation periods.
· Assist sales team in qualifying both business and technical pain at targeted prospects
· Propose hardware and software system architecture as required
Preferred Experience/Qualities:
· Proven achievements as a pre-sales consultant, working with external clients, producing positive solutions for their needs
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
· Understanding of hardware and network administration
· Domain knowledge in financial services (trading platforms, exchanges, payments, settlement, banking, etc.)
· Experience with transaction processing systems a plus.
· OOA (use case approach), OOD, knowledge of OO Case tools (Eclipse), knowledge of OO modeling language (UML),
· Experience with C++ and Java,
· Fluency in UNIX (Solaris, Linux) and Windows environments
· Excellent presentation skills as well as the ability to negotiate difficult or sensitive situations diplomatically
· Ability to understand client’s perspectives in all interactions, to analyze their needs and to offer alternative solutions
· Team player
· Ability to communicate effectively at different levels
· Analytical and problem solver, ability to work on own initiative
· Adaptable, flexible and open minded
