Provide first line technical support to internal clients in Japanese & English (mostly in Japanese with users but in English with 2nd/3rd level support groups) via phone, e-mail or walk-in. Low level troubleshooting of IT related problems which may range from very straightforward system/application problems through to more complicated issues. Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal IT group. Responds to queries quickly while also providing a high degree of client satisfaction. Enter all helpdesk calls in call tracking system. Develop & maintain documentation for technical & user communities. Liaise with IT service provider company (a group company) to resolve user requests and manage projects.

日本語と英語で、電話やEメール、Walk inによって初期ITサポート業務を社内ユーザーに提供。(ユーザーとの会話はほとんどの場合日本語/2nd・3rdレベルグループとの会話は英語)比較的単純なシステムやアプリケーションの障害復旧から、より複雑なIT関連の障害やリクエストの初期対応.
未解決の障害やリクエストを他の社内ITグループへエスカレート。
ユーザー満足度を高める努力をしつつ、場合により多くの問い合わせを短時間で対応。
全ての問い合わせをヘルプデスクの問い合わせ管理システムに記録。
チーム内もしくはユーザー向けのドキュメンテーションの作成と保守。
グループ会社内のサービスプロバイダーとのリエゾンになり問題解決やリクエスト、プロジェクトを円滑に進める。

Strong communication skills (communication skills more important than technical skills). Enthusiastic & energetic. Knowledge of Windows XP / Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003 and basic software such as MS Office. Knowledge of hardware. Skillset for application maintenance & support. Self-starter & quick learner. Team player. Experience in installing & supporting 3rd vendor applications such as bloomberg advantageous. Financial industry experience preferred. 2 or more years of work experience preferred. business level Japanese skills or above. business level English skills.
