This position is accountable for managing the planning, buying, material handling, import/export control, receiving and testing of goods and others required to support operating and manufacturing needs.
Goods and services are to be obtained at the lowest total cost with consideration to quality, reliability of source, and urgency necessary to support departmental objectives and contributing to the overall profitability of the corporation.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

1.Properly plan and purchase commodities within area(s) of responsibility as well as initiate cost savings projects in order to help control costs.
2.Provide supervision, guidance and leadership to identified warehouse, distribution, receiving functions. With focus on expedited shipments, maintaining quality, and continuing cost effectiveness and improvements that ultimately lead customer satisfaction.
3.Maximize the utilization of warehouse, distribution, resources while ensuring the expected level of customer satisfaction is met or exceeded.
4.In charge of receiving, shipping goods/parts correctly to achieve internal/external satisfaction.
5.Provide guideline and support to Customs Clerk customs clearance and foreign currency clearance.
6.Maintain warehouse MRP module data, and do the inventory check in a properly frequency.
7.Consistent to find costive supplier and good service for logistics need.
8.Develops, implements, and maintains statistical reports/graphs relative to departmental performance.
9.Follow and continually monitor established safety procedures to assure a clean, safe work environment is promoted and maintained.
10.Provide quality in everything delivered (goods and services) to internal and external customers through an approach of thorough planning, responsible implementation, and continuous improvement.
11.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that interfaces well with customers, clients, co workers and management members.
12.Responsible to assess and develop the department personnel, and upgrade where possible.
13.Manage workload, budget, and performance management process and drive best practices in the group.
14.Develop and implement strategies for minimizing inventory and shortening lead times (both internally and externally) for purchased goods, while enhancing customer service.
15.Actively support cross-functional teamwork that drives the business objectives. Lead these efforts when relevant to material strategies.
16.Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and prepares market analysis reports.
17.Develop and implement strategies, such as design changes or manufacturing process changes; to manage suppliers to provide cost reductions on new and existing products.

Technical Competencies
·4 year business or related degree
·3- 5 years Procurement and planning supervision experiece
·Exposure to S&OP process
·Hands on experience with cross-functional teams.

·Demonstrated understanding of project management function in a manufacturing environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal working environment. This position will be required to visit plant sites.
