Client-Related Responsibilities:


· Assist in the resolution of client queries to provide high quality responses in a timely manner

· Follow up on outstanding client queries by liaising with local colleagues and colleagues at the company`s overseas operations centers

· As appropriate, make regular client visits in coordination with Asset Servicing Relationship Management or Sales (Service Review Meetings, System Demos, etc.)

· Suggest controls and service enhancements to increase clients’ satisfaction



Other Responsibilities:

· Pro-actively build and maintain strong relationships with other departments

· If necessary, handle small/medium size ad hoc projects assigned by the Head of Tokyo Client Services

· At least 3 years of experience in the financial services industry (preferably, client-facing experience)

· Knowledge of global securities and securities processing (securities settlements, income, corporate actions, tax practices, billing, etc.)

· Experience dealing with Service Level Agreements/Descriptions and standard securities servicing models

· Oral and written fluency in Japanese and English (ability to interact with clients as well as overseas colleagues)

· Solid interpersonal and leadership skills

· Strong PC skills, particularly with MS Excel and internal applications/systems

Our Banking & Finance Division services the full financial services industry from bulge bracket investment banks to retail banks and fund managers and is responsible for the recruitment of financial services executives, lawyers (both local and overseas admitted) at all levels from Legal Counsels through to Regional General Counsels, compliance officers at all levels from junior compliance officers up to Regional Heads of Compliance, also documentation officers, paralegals and mid-office personnel positions.
