Company Profile:
My client is one of the oldest Financial Institutions and offers unparalleled international reach, financial strength and a sound knowledge of Japan. Leveraging its experience, my client delivers the full range of finance and risk management services, including bonds, loans, foreign exchange and derivatives, for the corporate sector and financial institutions.

This opportunity is for my client’s Tokyo office.

Reports to:
- Local Line Manager, Team Line Manager


Responsibilities:
- Day to day support of the technology platforms under the Futures and Prime Brokerage business.
- Review support queries/issues from multiple sources and allocate time accordingly, recording issues, time-spent and resolution details accurately in the production support system.
- Delivery of enhancements and bug fixes.
- Delivery of mandatory upgrades fueled by 3rd party vendors, exchanges, ECN’s, etc.
- Develop flexible solutions that integrate with the Futures and Prime Brokerage environment adhering to the team’s project process.
- Liaison with external clients during the on-boarding process, including ongoing support of electronic customers.
- Assist the business on client pitches in a presales function.


Requirements:
- Investment banking experience
- Experience with third party systems
- Experience with futures exchanges
- Operating Systems e.g. W2003 server, RedHat Linux, Sun Solaris
- MS SQL Server, T-SQL
- .NET, C++, Java
- HTML, XML, ASP development experience preferable
- Project Management experience preferable


Language Skills:
- Japanese: Not required, but preferable
- English : Fluent
