Company Profile:

My client is a global Investment Management firm with more than 10 offices worldwide and a workforce of over 3000. Client’s funds focus on active, index and asset allocation strategies, as well as services including liability driven investment, currency strategies, cash management, securities lending, hedging strategies, transitions and commodities trading.

This opportunity is for my client’s Tokyo office.

Responsibilities for IT Business Analyst:

- Capture the business process flow and produce business requirements documents
- Document the prioritization of business requests.
- Translate the business requirements into functional specifications, capture user interactions, and interface specifications.
- Assist IT Lead in understanding business requirements and functional specifications.
- Work with the Test Lead to create test conditions based on test cases and functional specifications.
- Validate that UAT results conform to the business requirements.
- Deliver promised solutions on time, on budget and on scope.
- Provide day to day project management expertise for one or more small projects.
- Escalate appropriately to PMO and/or project sponsors.
- Liaise with the Project Sponsor, Business Analyst, and IT Lead to schedule projects.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in investment or finance industry
- Prepare gap analysis; include review of system functionality and interviewing stakeholders
- Document business requirements and process mapping
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- MS Project expertise
- Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in investment or finance industry is preferable

Language Skills:
- Japanese: Business level
- English : Business level
