Responsibilities and Accountabilities

-Provide responsive and quality technical assistance to account teams as an Identity management expert, with opportunity qualification, solution scoping, cost estimation, technical risk assessment,and overall solution formulation during initial presales and bid management. Must have implementation experience and is able to design and implement Identity Manager and Sun’s related Identity management products.
-Prepare and deliver persuasive technical presentations to support bid efforts. Lead technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept efforts.
-Provide high quality advice on Sun Java Enterprise System products and technologies, particularly around Identity management.
-May act as Lead Architect, or as a member of a team of technical architects/ specialists to lead and oversee solution implementation and project delivery.
-May assume a quality assurance role on one or more engagements to ensure that solution design or architectures proposed and implemented are in accordance with current best practices and standards.
-Act as a local or regional expert in Identity Manager and Identity Management technologies, and provide mentoring to junior consultants or architects.
-Undertake research, capture, development and dissemination of best practices through technical community collaboration, white-paper authoring, solution development and intellectual property reuse.

-At least 7 years of IT industry experience, with at least 3 years in a senior technical consultant or architect role.
-Strong Identity management technology and directory (design and implementation) skills. Strong skill in scripting using Perl, PHP, Unix shell scripts, and knowledge on Java programming.
-Good knowledge and exposure to portals, directory servers, and identity management preferred (Sun Java Enterprise System product experience an advantage).
-Capable of performing as a technical lead from business requirements gathering, to architecture, to implementation and delivery.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Willingness to travel within countries in Asia Pacific to support business and project delivery activities.
-Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience, required.
