A leading global investment firm is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in the Asia team, located in Hong Kong.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is energetic and willing to take the initiative. They will be able to demonstrate leadership skills in a team setting and passion for providing innovative technology solutions to solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities

-Working with every area at the firm, building and leveraging relationships, institutionalizing knowledge, helping to create, maintain and at times alter the functional architecture strategy to effectively address the ever changing needs of the respective businesses and functional areas that support them.
-Being involved in high risk projects which typically culminate with a change to the messaging downstream systems.
-Enabling new businesses and bring them to market as quickly as possible, mapping the functional requirements of the business to the systems that can be leveraged to effectively process and control them.

Requirements

-Over 4 years of relevant experience in application development, business analysis and/or project management within the financial services industry or a consultancy role.
-Academic credentials might include an MBA, but certainly a strong undergraduate technical degree like computer science, electrical engineering.
-Bi-lingual verbal and written communication skills, English paired with Mandarin, Cantonese or other Asian languages.
