
The company is a launching bank which aims to revolutionize the Japanese retail banking sector. The bank has a preliminary licence at this stage and will launch operations this year. At this moment it employs 150 staff in its Akasaka office.
- This position will oversee and manage the Treasury Operations function including settlement and reconciliation of yen and foreign currency money market, derivative and fixed income security transactions for the non-trading book, liquidity control, BoJ reporting, and collateral management.
- The function requires close co-operation with other departments including Treasury, Risk Management, Operations and Finance.
- This position will be reporting to the CFO.
Must-haves:
1) Total minimum experience of ten years in middle and/or senior level management functions in a financial institution in Japan.
2) Of this, minimum 5 years experience in treasury operations in an institution operating in Japan, and of this at least three years experience dealing primarily with Japanese fixed income and money market instruments.
3) Minimum of 2 years experience managing a staff of at least two.
4) Native Japanese, good command of English (written and verbal)
