
Responsibilities:
・Work closely with the executive management team.
・Help to further develop a work environment that continues to foster innovation and who will strive to ensure that their employees happy and productive.
・Manage and oversee the Human Resource function in Japan for a multinational organization.
・Build credibility, while at the same time influencing cultural changes and driving HR initiatives at all levels.
・Recruitment and selection of highly skilled executives and general staff, in order to build strong and effective workforce in a competitive environment.
・Identify and assess management development needs, recommending appropriate training solutions with follow up and feedback on career progression and growth.
・Develop training and education programs, to enhance the skill set of existing employees.
・Benefits administration including social insurance and pension
・Organization development
・Coordinating visa information with legal team
・Purchasing and coordination with Accounting department
・Employee event planning
Requirements:
・Intelligent, responsible, reliable, creative, conscientious, and compassionate.
・Skilled across a number of functional areas, with emphasis on recruitment, management development and championing change.
・Ability to lead a team of professionals in a multi national organization.
・The ability to influence, through the use of variety of management styles appropriate to the situation.
・Proactive, highly motivated individual who is able to recommend and implement required changes in an organization undergoing rapid growth
・Strong management and leadership skills in order to lead the strategic change, mentor subordinates, prioritize projects, and drive for results.
・At least 2 years of global human resources management experience in several functional areas such as compensation and benefits, performance appraisal, recruiting and career training and development.
・Experience gained in a multicultural organization is essential, preferably in the Internet or IT areas.
・Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
・MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook a must , Access a plus
・Hands-on management style
・Previous startup experience a plus
・A strong team orientation, yet decisive.
