Responsibilities:


・Management of the Product Control team in Tokyo for all business activities traded and managed out of the Tokyo office
・Price verification: ensure that the firms assets are appropriate valued by performing independent price verification, market conformity checking, and customer valuations
・Income verification: ensure integrity of the business lines financial results through production of the daily profit and loss, carry analysis, brokerage analysis, P&L explanation and attribution
・Income policies: participate in the formation and implementation of income policies, including reserving and provisioning (risk control owns policy), valuations, cut-off and income recognition, income sharing agreements, and sales credits
・Financial Information integrity: ensure that the business lines performance results are properly recorded in the financials. Review of key reconciliations and work closely with the financial and management accounting groups within IB finance
・New Product Initiatives: coordinate IB Finance sign-off and to provide for income/headcount projections
・Business advisory: act as the finance department’s principal contact point for overall department. Provide specific reports as required by the business line
・Operational: operate within the product control matrix structure and within the Tokyo finance department in a spirit of teamwork
・Responsible for staff management of direct reports on daily tasks, training, appraisals, and recruitment


Requirements

・Degree holder
・8 or more years experience in Product Control for Equity Derivatives or Fixed Income products
・Experience in managing teams
・Open to relocate to Tokyo
