Tier One Investment bank has a position open for an OO Developer to work in an Equities Development team.
The team designs, develops and implements systems for listed equities and equities derivatives products.

The systems are converging in to a common global technology architecture which is a multi-year strategic project. Asia team plays a key role in this project while actively maintaining and supporting existing Asia based applications during the transition.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to learn about a variety of equity markets and product lines. You will be combining technical skills, business knowledge and creativity in the development of software solutions for business needs. You will work on several projects where your responsibilities will span all phases of the project life cycle.

RESPONSIBILIITES:

・ Actively participate in full cycle of systems development
・ Deliver components of strategic development projects
・ Provide quality support and ensure availability of systems, monitoring processes and maintenance of systems.
・ Planning & management of Production environment, ensuring swift resolution to production issues
・ Learn and establish as an expert of trade processing in Asian markets
・ Collaborate effectively with users and technology groups to build quality solutions for business requirements.

・ Proficiency in C++, Java, SQL and Unix.
・ Experience with MS Visual Studio, Java script, PERL, Web tools would be advantage.
・ 4 - 5 years’ experience in systems development preferably in the financial industry.
・ Equities product knowledge preferred
・ Strong teamwork and communication skills
・ Proactive self-starter, team player
