A extremely wide ranging and challenging C++ equities trading system developer is currently available for leading global financial comany . As a key member of the development team which designs and develops real time financial trading applications, for use in the Japan financial markets.

Whilst relevant experience is preferred, they will also consider candidates in Mid and Back Office development role OR strong C++ developers who are currently strong technically but would like to break into finance.

You will be involved with developing core components of Fidessa, including gateways to the Asian stock exchanges, using C++ on the Sun Solaris operating system. The role will include close liaison with our support team and members of our global development teams and provides the opportunity for regular communication in English

Key Responsibilities

Development and testing of core components of the system, including gateways to the Japanese stock exchanges.

Working closely with the project team and manager to deliver these components on time.

Writing high-level and detailed technical design documents.

Ensuring the production of quality deliverables using quality assurance methods including peer reviews and unit testing.

Active participation in design reviews.

Providing technical product guidance and assistance to other teams within the company such as support and consultancy services.

At least 3 years experience of strong C++ programming.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
