A challenging Senior Trading System implementation role is currently available for a high profile financial company.

With many challenges, having the ability to make decisions on the spot. Working in VB / VBA, you will be responsible for the workstation side of the implementation in a diverse comany and team.

The person will work within a team (average 4 people), interfacing to clients, business analysts and developers. Opportunities to gain valuable financial experience in areas such as FIX, exchange trading, derivatives etc. And Attractive long-term promotion possibilities.

Implementing and developing trading systems to clients’ specifications. Focus on the user interface.

Candidate Background
This is challenging role, and would suit a developer with at least 5 years experience. We are looking for a delivery focused technical enthusiast with a proven aptitude for software development.

Candidate Skills

Workstation technology background (exposure to VBA or VB or scripting)
Willing to learn
Willing to work in clients office as part of consultancy team

Experience in one or more of the following would be an advantage:

Some background in financial systems
Some knowledge of Unix technology e.g. scripting
General programming experience (TCL, C++ etc)
