A extremely wide ranging and challenging Senior Trading System implementation position is currently available for a financial comany that is the world leader in its field.

It would suit a person who like challenges and having the ability to make decisions on the spot. Installing, configuring, integrating and tuning high performance trading systems, innovating solutions to specific problems, working within tight functional and performance criteria

The person will work within a team (average 4 people), interfacing to clients, business analysts and developers. Opportunities to gain valuable financial experience in areas such as FIX, exchange trading, derivatives etc. And Attractive long-term promotion possibilities.

Candidate Background

3+ years UNIX development or administration experience
Well organised and a self-starter with drive and determination
Highly preferable to have financal background but implementing mission critical systems in other industries will also be considered

Candidate Skills

Strong Unix skills, including scripting (TCL, Perl etc) and performance analysis
Good analytical and lateral thinking ability
Willing to work on many changing projects
Desire for challenge
