日本を拠点ととしたメカニカルエンジニアとして、日本の先進的なテクノロジーをアップル製品に組み入れていく役割です。

As a member of a cross-functional design team at Apple, you will help to create the next generation of the world’s finest iPods, iPhones and accessories. As a Japan-based engineer, you will focus primarily on the mechanical integration of cutting-edge Japanese technologies into Apple products. You will work closely with the Cupertino-based Product Design and Industrial Design teams to help define clear development paths for Apple’s world-class supply base. You will also interface with the Operations team extensively as new technologies scale up for mass production at Apple’s existing China manufacturing base. Heavy domestic travel in Japan, and regular trips to China & Cupertino, California are to be expected.

- BSMEのスキルをお持ちの方 （MSがあれば尚可）
- ネイティブもしくはビジネスレベルの日本語力をお持ちの方で、かつネイティブレベルもしく はビジネスレベル英語があれば尚可
- 製品設計の経験が３〜７年ある方（コンシューマー電子機器製品での経験があれば尚可）
- 部品　(LCDアセンブリ、バッテリー、HDDなど)の組み立て（FPCデザインもしくはPBCデザイン経験）に関する知識と経験のある方
- 海外の工場と連携して業務を遂行した経験のある方
- プラスチックとメタルの部品設計の経験のある方
- 3-D CADスキルがある方（UGもしくはProE/Solidworkの経験であれば尚可）
-早いスピードで変化する環境に対応できる能力のある方

- BSME required, MS Preferred.
- Native or Business-level Japanese language (written & verbal), Native or Business-level
English (preferred)
- 3-7 years experience in product design (preferably consumer electronic products).
- Experience with component modules (LCD assemblies, batteries, HDDs, etc.) and their
interconnects (FPC design, PCB design, etc.)
- Experience working with overseas manufacturers.
- Requires demonstrated ability in plastic and metal part design.
- 3-D CAD skills essential. (UG preferred, ProE/Solidworks also OK)
- Must have ability to deal with an incredibly fast paced environment.
