. Consults with business clients to assist in problem analysis and solution identification, with a focus
on business processes.
. Provides assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures which are
cost effective and meets user requirements.
. Works with development resources (i.e. Third Party SW Vendors) in configuring system settings and
options ; plans and executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing ; and creates specifications for
the systems to meet business requirements.
. Monitors system, analyzes and classifies change requests, investigates and documents scope of the
changes required.
. Identifies resources and skills needed to meet service level requirements.
. Defines and documents processes for system support activities, system backups, and disaster
recovery situations.
. Provides status of progress, tasks completed and outstanding issues, and produces quality outputs
(i.e. deliverables) in a timely manner.addin

Qualifications
. Typically requires BS degree in Business, CS or equivalent
. Minimum 5-8 years experience as IT Business Analyst working with business processes, including
process improvement projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
. Strong communication skills both written and oral, capable of communicating effectively to all levels
of people over extended periods of time.

. Well developed analytical and problem solving skills.
. Good understanding of computer system capabilities, business processes and workflow.
. Good understanding of application development lifecycle methodologies.
. Demonstrates a basic knowledge of business functions, e.g. Finance, Human Resources.
. Functional experience, or moderate understanding of Finance operation (i.e. Accounting)
. Working experience with ERP - Financial modules (Oracle, SAP, etc) preferrable.
. Sound working knowledge of following:
- Oracle 9i, SQL Server
- VB, .net/ASP.net, PL/SQL, XML, reporting tool (i.e. Crystal Reports)
- Windows XP, NT/2000 Server and Workstations
- MS Office Suite, MS Project, Visio
