Overall control of brands:

・ Manage sales, provide team leadership, maintain relationship with HQ and retail partners in Japan

・ Control cost & purchasing

・ Inventory control & marketing

・ Analyze distribution channel sales & methods - increase channels

・ Develop sales strategy

・ Involve in brand product order sessions

・ Lead 2-6 sales staff: Sales Manager, Team Leader & Representatives

・ Light travel will include Japan and HK and may include US, EU

Requirements:

・ Understanding of fashion retail / wholesale. Well-rounded knowledge/experience in sales, product/merchandising & marketing.

・ Bilingual - English/Japanese. Versed in nuances of American and Japanese culture. Candidates must currently live in Japan.

・ Ability to execute strategy through teams (sales, product, planning & marketing) in the direction of the company’s long-term goals.

・ Proven leadership: previous success with creating & implementing a consumer product-oriented business plan.

・ Demonstrate analytical ability & ability to set brand strategy - effectively lead staff & is “hands-on” in execution.

・ Personality:
* Guts & passion, assertive & energetic, dynamic, positive & confident!
* Risk taker, comfortable accepting short term challenges
* Passion for success. Flexible outlook and ability to handle pressure.

・ Thrive in uncertainty & have an entrepreneurial spirit. Ability to offer a fresh perspective to current business.

・ Understand what makes organizations effective. Understand that success is achieved through teamwork.

・ Basic exposure to finance, sales, marketing, logistics and strategic planning
* Candidate must have enough marketing experience to strategically collaborate with the Marketing Team.
* Ability for financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and P&L.
