
The world’s luxury fashion company is seeking a Store Manager for its Tokyo, Yokohama and Osaka stores. Responsibilities include overall management of the store to ensure the sufficient profitability, brand recognitions, team development and customer service are achieved at the high level of standard.
Key performance indicators
・Achieve monthly and seasonal store goals
・Achieve low shrinkage percentage company
・Achieve company goals in relation to ratios
・Achieve high customer capture rate and consistently increases client base
・Complete monthly recaps to communicate business trends and needs
・Contribute to the overall results of the stores
Customer service
・Uphold company’s customer service standards
・Ensure customers are provided high standard of customer service by all associates
・Develop staff to ensure the client is the top priority
・Resolve all customer service issues to ensure the client satisfaction
・Review client books weekly basis to ensure consistency
Human resources
・Responsible for overall training and development of the staff
・Actively recruit for all positions on a consistent basis
・Ensures store to budget and business needs
・Set goals for all associates
・Perform annual reviews for all associates, the probation period, annual, as needed
・Ensure all employee files and records are maintained and current
・Motivate staff on a daily basis to achieve goals
・Creates a positive and work environment
・Submit store schedules as require by the regional manager
・Hold meetings to ensure consistent communication
・Documentation of unsatisfactory performance and creation plan of action to rectify
・Submit new hire, termination, status changes and payroll as directed
・Manage time off request, on business needs and company directives
Marketing/ Brand development
・Ensure all associates communicate the brand to clients
・Uphold the company’s image personally and through it’s team
・Ensures all dress codes and uniform policies are adhered to
・Coordinates local events to ensure maximum exposure
・Suggest and participate in company events
・Recommend advertising venues to regional manager
・Submit events/advertising file to regional manager
Merchandizing
・Maintain store in accordance with the presentation standards
・Ensure all visual directives are respected and executed in a timely manner
・Utilize company tools to train staff on product knowledge
・Ensure selling floor is always completely stocked
・Review stock levels and assortments to maximize presentation and sales
・Communicate product needs to inventory manager
・Ensure fashion awareness through competitive shopping and magazines
・Ensure staff is knowledgeable of the fit and care of all styles
・Ensure all product is handled with respect and care
Operations
・Ensure staff understanding and adherence to company policies and procedures
・Maintain a clean and organized store
・Oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments as well as seasonal returns
・Suggest and organize repairs and/or renovations
・Manage cash flow and deposit as noted in a specific manual or directed by RM
・Oversee all supply orders
・Oversee all weekly and monthly paperwork
・Maintain any and all controllable factors to ensure profitability
・Audit and monitor receipt cancellations, returns and discounts
・Responsible for all physical inventories and participates in reconciliation
・Responsible for sporadic stock counts to maintain inventory integrity
・Communicate inventory discrepancies regularly
・Review operational calendar for additional responsibilities
・Ensure all associates respect the company confidentiality
・Secure all company assets
・A bachelor’s degree
・At least 5 years experience in store management in the luxury fashion industry
・Strong knowledge of retail business
・Excellent understanding of luxury fashion business culture and strategy
・Ability to coordinate members of a team
