The Tokyo Information Systems Department is pivotal in Firm’s ability to meet rapidly changing and expanding business needs by providing a range of systems infrastructure and application services to the full range of business units world wide.

The main functions of this role are to provide business and systems analysis to the key business areas. Under general direction and standard guidelines, determines and documents business requirements and processes for medium/large projects of, potentially high business and technical complexity. Analyzes and proposes revisions of both the business and systems logics. Develops test scripts and help the business to perform acceptance testing.

Responsibilities:
* Business requirements and systems analysis
* Document the business requirements and formulate the requirements into system solutions
* Document the system requirements and work closely with developers to ensure the systems could meet business requirements
* Develops unit and system integration test scripts and performing the testing
* Develops test scripts for user acceptance testing and help business to perform the acceptance testing
* Project management
* Contingency Planning
* Provide production support to business users

Experience / Qualifications

Experience of some of the following is required.
* Posses the high degree of financial business and technical knowledge required to work on all phases of systems implementation projects
* Strong interest and understanding of investment trust products and its schemes.
* Strong interest and understanding of product development and marketing activities
* Strong skills in researching the costs/benefits implications of proposals and identification of alternative project approaches
* Has business and technical analytical skills in varying technical environment (Client/Server, Web base, Smart Client)
* Web based application design and development skills
* Familiarity with Relational Database (Oracle, MS SQL Server).
* Familiarity with SQL, JAVA, .NET, XML, HTML
* Familiarity with Unix (Sun Solaris) and Windows platform
* Knowledge of Visual Studio and source code management tool (VSS, PVCS)
* Experience of working with structured development methods
