We are looking for a talented Pre-Sales Support (Sales Engineer) with at least 5 years of pre and post sales experience in a software or Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.  You will work out of our Tokyo office but be part of our US-based Sales Engineering team providing technical support at all stages of the sales process through-out the Pacific Rim.  You will have significant interaction with sales personnel as well as perspective and existing customers.

Both English and Japanese CVs required.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5年以上のプリセールスエンジニアの経験
  • 各種IP通信プロトコル（SMTP、FTP/SFTP、HTTP/HTTPS、VPN、MQなど）の知識、経験
  • VoIP技術、PBX、コールセンターシステム、Faxサーバの知識、経験
  • 以下のいずれかの業務経験および技術的知識
             o    各種メッセージングサービス（EDI、Fax、Eメールなど）
             o    ホステッドサービスとバックエンドシステムとの接続
  • 自立型およびチームでの活動で力を発揮できる能力
  • 提案書作成および顧客向け提案能力および経験
  • 問題解決に対する強い意欲
  • 日本語および英語による高度なコミュニケーション能力（読み、書き、会話）

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ year’s relevant pre-sales and post-sales experience.
  • Expertise with IP-based messaging protocols such as: SMS, FTP, MQ, VPN, SMTP.
  • Preference for exposure to VoIP technology, call-center applications, and fax servers.
  • Experience helping customers connect their back-end systems to hosted network infrastructure is a big plus.
  • Experience with Hosted Tech Services, Web Services, or Network Services
  • Exposure to EDI, Fax and Email messaging preferred along with experience helping customers connect their back-end systems to hosted network infrastructure.
  • Ability to work effectively in a self-directed and team-oriented manner.
  • Strong background writing sales proposals and conducting customer presentations.
  • Lead and/or participate in technical problem-solving efforts.
  • Strong English language skills both oral and written
