募集要項

BiOS is looking for a data center operator to work for a global data center facility management and IT outsourcing services provider in Tokyo.

In this position, you will be responsible for monitor and configuration of IT hardware running for 24/7, as well as IT equipment management, system installation preparation, etc. within data center environment.

This is a great opportunity for those who have experience IT hardware maintenance experience and would like to build their experience as a data center engineer in large-scale atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Supporting on-site installations of IT hardware; including storage space assignments and physical installations
Evaluations of policy and procedures
Participation in power down exercises
Providing cabling services for data, power, and patching
Troubleshooting hardware (server, network, storage, etc.)
Coordinating with third party vendors for asset ordering/shipment, technical support schedule management, etc.
Tape inventory management within the data center

現在弊社では、大手データセンター・サービス・プロバイダーにてご就業を頂くデータセンター・オペレーターを募集しております。

このポジションでは、主に東京都内のデータセンターにて24時間体制で稼働しているITハードウェアの監視・運用、IT機器管理、システムのインストール等をご担当頂きます。

ITハードウェアの運用経験を活かし、国内最大規模のデータセンター環境にてご就業をされたい方に最適な案件です。

業務内容

各データセンターにおけるITハードウェアのインストールを担当。施設内のスペースの確保及び電源など環境の設定・確認も担当
データセンター内の規則及び基準の評価
計画停電への参加
データ通信、電源、及びパッチング業務関連のケーブリング業務を担当
ハードウェア（サーバー、ネットワーク、ストレージ、その他）へのトラブルシューティング
ベンダー企業と協力し、IT機器及び資産管理（注文、発送）、システム・サポートのスケジュール調整等を担当
テープ管理業務

スキル・資格

At least 1 years experience working in a data center environment or in a similar IT support role (i.e. server monitoring, etc.)
Knowledge of computer hardware and terminology.
Knowledge and interest in HP, IBM and Sun Microsystems hardware is a plus.
Familiarity with networking principles is a plus.
Experience taking issues and enquiries by phone and mail
Solid business communication skills administration skills
A proactive attitude to quality of service and improvement
Business-level English and Japanese language skills are required
1年間以上のデータセンター又は同等の施設におけるエンジニアとしてのご就業経験（例：サーバー監視担当等）をお持ちの方
ITハードウェア機器の知識をお持ちの方
HP, IBM, 及びSun関連のハードウェア（主にサーバー）の知識をお持ちの方であれば尚可
ネットワーク・システムを全般的にご理解されている方であれば尚可
電話及びメールにて顧客サポートをご経験されている方
流暢なコミュニケーションスキルをお持ちの方
顧客に対し、質の高いサポートを常に提供することが出来る方
英語：ビジネス使用可能レベル、日本語ビジネス使用可能レベル
