Challenging and Global role within rapidly expanding Investment Bank in Tokyo. This role lies within the growing Asia-Pac Operations Group and you will be specifically working on the SETTLEMENTS within the Fixed Income Production teams.

This Top Tier Bank is growing even in this uncertain financial climate and looking to boost its Asia Presence across all Fixed Income markets. As a result this is a constantly challenging and fun environment to work in, within a team/group that is dedicated to building on their current successes.

This role will require an individual capable of multi-tasking and prioritising tasks as to the demands of the daily schedule. You will need a night level of accuracy in your work and a high level of control over the settlements procedure. To this end you will need a thorough understanding of the Financial Markets, coupled with sound decision making and problem solving skills. You will be a strong team player as well as able to proactively solve problems individually. You will need a very high level of communication skills, phone skills and a high level of English Fluency.

Your role will be to look after the daily operations tasks of on/off shore SETTLEMENTS and related support tasks. You will be expected to take ownership of tasks/problems and be able to provide fast and robust solutions. There will also be team and individual project work and you must be able to work to deadlines.

Key Essentials - Expertise in Settlements and Payment processes of Japanese and International Markets. A thorough depth of Financial Products and Japanese Regulations. Very high computer literacy and Command of English.
