募集要項

A reputable international British firm is looking to hire an experienced accountant to join their Tokyo practice.

The main tasks will include day to day accounting functions, financial planning and reporting to both local authorities as well as to the regional and global head quarters. In addition the candidate will be expected to report monthly financial results, reconcile and analyse accounts, co-ordinate internal audits, perform account entries, accumulate and assimilate expense sheets, maintain the fixed asset register, handle accounts payable and general ledger transactions as well as monitor the daily cash flow and assist in funding requests. The candidate will also be involved to some extent in preparing tax filing documents as well as other ad hoc tasks as determined by the office manager.

スキル・資格

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of between 8 to 10 years of experience as an accountant, having handled the above tasks and others routinely required of an accountant. He/she must be able to work in a challenging environment with good communication and team work skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate professionalism in the way that he/she conducts their work. Candidates must also demonstrate limited but sufficient knowledge of the fiscal rules and regulations and must be fully bilingual in English and Japanese. The candidate must be flexible in nature and willing to work with other functions as and when required, including support tasks should the need arise.
