This position is a senior role within the Japanese based operation. The position will require the incumbent to manage and grow established automotive accounts along with the provision of sound engineering design discipline and people management skills.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
1. Development and management of new tool programs to coincide with new vehicle introductions.
2. Management of OE Sales & engineering Team
3. Development of OE dept systems.
4. Management of sales development model & forecasts
5. Regular meetings with customer design groups and senior management.
6. Preparation of customer quotations
7. Design of tools & equipment to meet customer requirements.
8. Maintenance of customer pricing and inventory.
9. Maintain and continuously develop supplier / customer relationship.
10. Ensure incremental growth with each account
11. Liaise with local & overseas suppliers
12. Oversee maintenance of product group pricing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience:
1. Tool design background preferably in the auto industry.
2. Sales experience at a senior level preferably with previous account management experience within the auto industry at OE level.
3. Management experience in leading a sales engineering team successfully

Good verbal and written communications in both English and Japanese.
