
- Translation of user interface from English into Chinese, Korean and Japanese and other languages
- Adjust user interface, functionalities, database information work flow, diagrams, contents presentation and navigation tools based on local market demands
- Setting localization priorities (what product do we localize in what way for which market, where is the biggest potential)
- Build business cases based on market input from local teams, recognizing key markets and opportunities
- Gather high level requirements for localized products, through collaboration with sales, training, market research and product specialists in each region / market to successfully prioritize which functionalities or aspect of the products to localize in what way.
- Stay in close contact with the customer demands in each region through feedback
- Work with global stakeholders and PMO to ensure that localization efforts are on track and help quantify impact of timing (make sure goals are set and delivered on time for 5 global regions)
- Prioritize Asia-specific product enhancement requests collated by helpdesk, and communicate those back to product development teams (function as the "Voice" for Asia Pacific product requirements and impact product development)
