A global finances firm is seeking a bilingual E/J IT support analyst for their Tokyo office in the Fixed Income group application team.

This dynamic role performs real-time user coverage, monitoring, system-level troubleshooting, incident/problem management, and administration for critical Fixed Income sales systems.

Responsibilities

- Primary Asia support contact for daily end user bond trading system issues
- Escalation point for Asia IT helpdesk and infrastructure teams with incidents impacting the bond trading environment
- Handling routine maintenance of bond trading applications, such as start and end of day ready for business processing checks
- Installation, configuration, and administration of business applications for Asia traders and trade assistants
- Escalation of unresolved problems to Tokyo- and global-based Bond Tech development and infrastructure engineering groups in IT

スキル・資格

- Knowledge of SQL
- Application, infrastructure and/or user support experience in a trading environment
- Proficiency with a scripting language such as kshell, Perl, VB
- Familiar with Fixed Income business concepts such as cash bonds, interest rate and
credit derivatives
