Position will lead the team that develops the electronic products for Japan. This role will report into the Regional Product Development Director and will have strong matrix accountability to Japan management. The role will lead and coordinate the successful development and maintenance of products (both Global and Domestic products). He / She develops the local products tailored to our customers in Japan.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Responsible for the following domestic (localized) products developments
- Japan Online (Japan legal Information provider)
- Lawyers portal development and content engineering
- Localization and development of Intellectual Property solutions for Japan market
- Content engineering and taxonomy development
· Planning on Localization of Global Products and implementation thereafter
· Maintenance and upgrading IT infrastructure and lead relevant IT projects
· Identify local needs of new products for future launch and upgrading/integration of existing products via feasibility study/market research/needs survey, etc.,
· Financial Management (financial planning and analysis - budgeting)
· Resource management (optimizing resources and organisational effectiveness)
· Coordination/collaboration with sales/customer support/marketing team in every aspect of the business improvement/development
· Financial analysis on ROI of the development

Qualification
(necessary SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE)

Skills/Knowledge:

· Multinational experience - working with overseas teams
· Product development management experience
· IT Infrastructure and maintenance experiences
· People Management
· (Business Level)Fluency in English is required especially in oral communication, preferably TOEIC 700 above level required.

Experience:

· Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experiences and 3-5 years people management experiences

· Experience in the publishing industry
· Experience working in information services industry preferred.
