We are aggressively looking for an experienced Java/C++ developer for a global investment bank, based in Tokyo.

You will be closely interacting with your counterparts in Asia, New York and London.

Responsibilities include;
Development, maintenance and support of front office applications used by traders across Asia.
Participate in the full project life cycle-analysis, design, development, release, maintenance and user support.
Provide guidance/support to more junior team members

Technical requirements:
More than 2 years of experience in software development in a financial firm
Hands on coding experience with Java or C++, on Sun Solaris dev platform, back-end designing and coding on SQL/Oracle or Sybase, dev experience in multi-threaded systems, either perl or shell scripting. VBA is a bonus (but not must)

Personality
Friendly and good in working in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skill is required
Proactive, a team player, positive mind-set, career-focused

Languages
Fluent in English
