Hands on s/w development experience to build marketmaking engines, a retail distribution platform and work on some of the more complex financial products using the market leading pricing and risk technology. Along with other derivatives systems, this system is developed using a proprietary special purpose object database, along with an associated language. Full training will be provided.

Technical Skills:
8-10 years development experience ideally most of it in banking.
· OO skills, and experience in an OO programming language (C/C++, Java, Smalltalk, Lisp)
· Unix knowledge
Relevant Skills/Qualifications:
· Good communication skills
· Excellent problem solving abilities
· Ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure
· Self-motivation is important and the candidate must be able to work to tight deadlines.
· Educated to degree or equivalent level, most likely in a numerate subject.
· Strong Project Management and leasership skills will be a plus
· Mandarin speaking skills will be advantageous.
